Responsibilities
-Monitor orders from entry to invoicing to ensure timely processing.
-Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via multiple channels.
-Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams and with customers.
-Investigate and resolve service and billing issues; implement corrective actions.
-Use data to optimize logistics and ensure efficient, cost-effective deliveries.
-Foster a high-quality, motivating work environment.
-Provide regular coaching and feedback to support team performance.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, QA, etc.) to meet business objectives.
-Lead initiatives to improve the customer experience through automation and digital tools (e.g., B2B portals, dashboards).
-Restructure customer service teams and workflows for greater market alignment.
-Drive and implement regional customer service strategies in collaboration with leadership.
-Oversee daily order management operations with a focus on customer value.
-Establish, track, and improve service level agreements (SLAs).
-Address customer concerns and lead preventive and corrective actions.
-Strengthen customer communication and gather feedback to improve satisfaction.
-Promote an inclusive, high-performance team culture through ongoing development.
Qualifications
-5+ years experience in Customer Service or relevant experience.
-Bachelor’s degree
-Strongly preferred experience in the manufacturing industry.
-SAP experience is a plus!
-Ability to troubleshoot and rapidly adjust multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Solution-focused and results-oriented.
-Independent thinker and team player, working towards collective goals.
-Exceptional customer focus with the ability to build strong relationships.
-Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills in both Japanese and English.
-Knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documentation
