Responsibilities

– Lead 5S implementation and ongoing support across site operations
– Monitor, deploy, and support recap processes
– Implement and support labour management initiatives
– Promote and drive the company’s Lean/Continuous Improvement program (site-level Kaizen activities)
– Provide troubleshooting support for operational issues
– Support assessment of internal operational excellence programs
– Manage 3 direct reports

Qualifications

– Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations or freight forwarding
– Hands-on experience with continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Kaizen)
– Leadership or team management experience
– Business-level English (for communication with regional HQ)
– Strong ability to organize operations and design/improve business processes and workflows
– Self-motivated, proactive, able to manage priorities independently
– Good communication in Japanese and English (written & spoken)
– Strong presentation and reporting skills
