Responsibilities

-Purchasing goods or services
-Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
-Track inventory and restock goods when needed
-Stay up to date with industry trends and new products
-Determine appropriate pricing
-Find suppliers that produce quality items within the business’ budget
-Responsible for gathering and preparing documents
-Analyze suppliers’ performance once hired
-Keep bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in systems
-Evaluates vendor reliability
