Responsibilities

- Handle accurate monthly/year-end reporting​
- Encourage and support harmonization, efficiency and effectiveness of global finance processes, compliance processes and internal control processes​
- Develop finance teams to improve accounting processes effectively​
- Manage balance sheets including split between Segments, balance sheet reviews for all legal entities​
- Handle cost allocations between performance units including (accruals, wages, pension)​
- Ensure optimal control environment on the legal entity level​
- Effectively manage company and capital structure with Tax and Treasury​
- Guide efficient performance unit / profit center structure​
- Act as a Company Secretary​
- Responsible for local legal obligations regarding Board Meetings, and Annual General Meetings​
- Liaise with local authorities, local auditors and local outsourcing partner

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree​
- Native Japanese​
- Intermediate English​
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, budgeting, or financial control, auditing and/or financial reporting​
- Able to clearly communicate complex issues across a broad audience
