Responsibilities

- Direct the regular financial processes for the operation, including month-end closing, rolling forecast and annual plan.

- Develop and manage strategies to assure effective financial planning and analysis.

- Provide analysis to support the efficient operation of manufacturing operations

- Capital investment control

- Process improvements to improve the finance operations.

- Ensure compliance with Local GAAP and US GAAP.

- Audit, treasury, and tax functions.

- Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place.

- Liaise with and support other business departments. 

Qualifications

- BS degree or above, majoring in Finance & Accounting is preferred

- 10 years of multinational company financial management experience.

- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, and applications, both Japan and USGAAP.

- Knowledge of the principles and practices of cost accounting

- Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.

- CPA (or equivalent experience) is preferred
