 Responsibilities

－ Reports directly to Managing Director

－ Manage a finance team of 2－3

－ Responsibility for month end and year end closing, ensuring good financial statement quality

－ Responsibility for the timely preparation and submission of all statutory reporting in accordance with Japan GAAP, and local tax requirement

－ Manage annual Budget process and periodic forecasting requirements

－ Ensure adequate internal controls over financial reporting

－ Giving commercial advice internally or negotiation of all business contracts

－ Shareholders’ meeting

 Qualifications

－ Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification, major in finance or accounting, business or international trade or economics

－ Over 8 years relevant working experience in the field of accounting, preferably with foreign affiliate company or similar size of company

－ More than 3 years’ experience in a managerial position.

－ Proficient in Accounting, IFRS and JP GAAP ＆ good understanding of Japanese tax and international tax.

－ Fluent in English – both written and spoken

－ Good communication skills – both written and spoken, able to articulate well and work well within team and across departments

－ Basic domestic trade, import－export trade know－how ＆ practice, insurance, commercial, knowledge.

－ PC skills, e.g., word, excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook.

－ Knowledge of SAP ERP and Hyperion will be an added advantage.
