- I am originally from Hawaii and have been working in Japan since 2013. I attended a private university in California and studied East Asian history with a focus on modern Japanese history. After moving to Japan, I studied Japanese while working and learning more about Japanese business practices. Today I am comfortable communicating in both English and Japanese. My personal focus most of my career has been in introducing senior level bilingual HR professionals to foreign capital companies in Japan, mainly to BtoB or Life Sciences industry companies such as manufacturing, industrial trading, medical device, pharmaceuticals, and industrial services companies. In addition to this, I am managing a team of consultants across HR and SCM specialisms covering the BtoB / Life Sciences sector. I am married to a Japanese wife and have a young daughter at home. I love to spend time with my family around Tokyo on my days off.
My hobbies are mixed martial arts, boxing and kickboxing. I have been boxing and kickboxing for over 14 years and am a huge fan of MMA. I really like to compete and be challenged, and I try to bring this mindset in whatever I do. My goal is to partner with candidates and clients to find the perfect fit that will benefit both candidates' career development goals and companies' business growth.

My hobby is water polo, which I have been doing for about 18 years.
