■ レポートラインとチーム構成
本ポジションは、日本拠点の経理責任者（退任予定で後任育成を希望）にレポートし、4名体制のチーム（経理責任者、本ポジション、会計担当者、派遣スタッフ）と連携して業務を進めます。標準化されたプロセスのもとで業務が進められており、スムーズにキャッチアップできる体制が整っています。安定したチームで経験を深めたい方に適した環境です。

Responsibilities

– Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
– Review GL balances, journal entries, and reconciliations.
– Coordinate with Global Business Services and internal teams on AP/AR and intercompany items.
– Assist with cash flow, forecasts, bank balances, and payments.
– Support local tax and statutory filings (corporate tax, consumption tax, business/property/withholding tax, stock‑based compensation certificate).
– Work with tax advisors, auditors, and local accounting counterparts.
– Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and documentation standards.
– Manage and reconcile intercompany balances and charges.
– Support APAC and Corporate reporting.
– Participate in process alignment and improvement initiatives.
– Use finance systems (e.g., ERP, reconciliation tools).
– Identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and stronger controls.
– Support rollout of new tools, policies, and process changes.
– Contribute as a key member of the Japan finance team.
– Build knowledge to serve as a future successor / backup for critical tasks.
– Support and guide junior and contingent staff as needed.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
– 5–8 years experience in accounting or finance, ideally in multinational or manufacturing/tech companies.
– Strong knowledge of Japanese GAAP, tax, and statutory requirements.
– Experience with ERP systems.
– Fluent Japanese; business‑level English.
