Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition
– Lead full-cycle hiring for all retail and HQ roles.
– Develop recruitment strategies and enhance employer branding.

Onboarding
– Manage smooth onboarding and induction programs aligned with brand standards.

Employee Relations & Compliance
– Serve as the main contact for employee issues and conflict resolution.
– Ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws and maintain HR policies.
– Address retail labor matters and update the employee handbook.
– Advise managers on HR policies, performance, and workforce planning.
– Drive engagement through workshops, team-building, and feedback initiatives.

Training & Development
– Coordinate internal training and support leadership development programs.

Performance Management & Payroll
– Manage KPI and performance review processes.
– Support managers with reviews and development planning.
– Oversee retail compensation structures and incentive schemes.
– Prepare payroll and coordinate with external agencies.
– Lead annual salary reviews and compensation adjustments.
– Analyze HR data to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
– 5+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years in luxury retail or high-end hospitality
– Strong knowledge of Japanese labor laws and HR practices in the luxury retail sector
– Proven ability to manage high-volume retail recruitment
– Fluent English and strong cross-cultural communication skills
– Hands-on HR operations experience, with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, startup environment
