Responsibilities

About the Role
– We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior HR Business Partner to join a dynamic, international organization based in Japan. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of business and people strategy — partnering directly with senior leaders to shape culture, accelerate talent, and drive meaningful organizational change.

What You’ll Do
– Diagnose organizational and talent gaps and design practical, scalable solutions
– Own the full lifecycle of HR programs — from design and implementation to continuous improvement
– Lead talent management, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives
– Navigate complex employee relations and labor issues with confidence and sound judgment
– Partner with global HR teams to ensure local execution aligns with international strategy

Qualifications

– 10+ years of progressive, generalist HR experience
– Proven track record in org development, talent management, and change management
– Experience managing cross-functional and global stakeholder relationships
– Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English
– Strong working knowledge of Japanese labor law
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
