Responsibilities

– Collaborate with global HR teams on multinational HR initiatives
– Act as HR partner to business units, supporting workforce planning and retention
– Manage recruitment and selection processes
– Oversee onboarding and offboarding
– Prepare employment contracts with support from external legal counsel as needed
– Support employees and managers with workplace issues, grievances, and counseling
– Oversee performance appraisal system to drive high performance
– Manage compensation, salary reviews, and benefits structures for competitiveness and compliance
– Coordinate payroll with external provider
– Identify training needs and manage learning & development programs
– Prepare HR reports and analysis for management and HQ
– Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– 5 Years of HR experience
– Experience managing payroll, onboarding/offboarding, and employment contracts with external vendors and legal support
– Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices in Japan
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
– Ability to work effectively in a multinational and cross-cultural environment
– Native Japanese & Business English
