Responsibilities

L&D Manager

We are looking for an L&D Manager to strengthen our learning and development function and lead both commercial and cross-functional training programs. This role will play a key part in building a scalable and effective talent development framework that supports business growth.

Key responsibilities

– Develop and deliver the company’s learning strategy in line with business goals and group guidelines
– Design and manage soft skills and technical training programs across the organization
– Lead onboarding and leadership training for new hires, newly promoted managers, and key business roles
– Create training programs for promotional and non-promotional teams, with a focus on product knowledge and operational effectiveness
– Set KPIs and track training impact, effectiveness, and return on investment
– Oversee daily training operations, including budgeting, planning, and resource allocation
– Coach and support team members to strengthen capability and career development
– Partner with global and local stakeholders to localize training content, share best practices, and report in English

Qualifications

– 10+ years of experience in learning and development within a corporate environment
– Native Japanese, business level English
– Strong track record of designing and delivering various training programs
– Proven people management experience
– Strong execution skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business
– Strong communication skills
