Responsibilities

Japan S&OP / S&OE Leadership
– Lead and improve S&OP and S&OE cycles.
– Align demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans.
– Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Export, and Global Logistics.
– Handle escalations on supply‑demand gaps, risks, and trade‑offs.

Demand Planning & Forecasting
– Own the regional demand planning strategy and governance.
– Ensure accurate forecasts using market insights, promotions, and data.
– Review forecast accuracy, find root causes, and drive improvements.

Supply & Inventory Optimization
– Set and execute inventory strategies balancing service, cost, and working capital.
– Work with global logistics, breweries, and export teams to secure supply.
– Monitor inventory health and lead actions for slow‑moving or obsolete stock.
– Reduce supply chain losses and write‑offs.

Performance & Continuous Improvement
– Manage key planning KPIs (service level, forecast accuracy, inventory, losses, logistics cost).
– Lead root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
– Support digitalization, standardization, and process simplification.

People & Stakeholder Leadership
– Build strong relationships across regions and cultures.
– Role‑model leadership behaviors and ways of working.
– Promote a high‑performance and ownership mindset.

Qualifications

– 6+ years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, S&OP, or logistics in FMCG or complex supply chains
– Experience leading S&OP and influencing senior stakeholders
– Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to turn data into clear actions
– Proven ability to drive continuous improvement in processes and results
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing stakeholders
– Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
– Able to build a collaborative, inclusive team environment and support cross‑functional teamwork
– Advanced Excel skills (planning models, scenario analysis)
– Fluent in English; business‑level Japanese required
