Responsibilities

-Lead end-to-end distribution and transportation operations, ensuring seamless delivery performance and scalable supply chain excellence.
-Optimize distribution center and logistics network performance to improve efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
-Drive transportation improvements through smarter processes, cost optimization, and enhanced service delivery.
-Monitor and improve key operational KPIs including on-time delivery, shipment costs, lead times, and service quality.
-Partner with cross-functional teams and external logistics providers to build strong relationships, maintain high service standards, and deliver continuous improvement.
-Manage logistics budgets, financial performance, and cost-saving initiatives while supporting strategic growth and operational excellence.
-Oversee inbound and outbound transportation operations, including 3PL management, vendor performance reviews, and support for new logistics projects and RFQs.
-Ensure full compliance with international trade, customs, safety, and ethical standards while driving sustainable and responsible operational practices.

Qualifications

-3+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
-Experience working in a manufacturing company is a plus!
-Business-level Japanese
-Business-level English
-Strong systems knowledge, including ERP platforms and supply chain tools (SAP experience is a plus!)
-Proven ability to improve operational performance, optimize processes, and deliver measurable business results.
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
-Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
-Proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
