Responsibilities

– Order processing from order entries to fulfilment of imports of transfer orders for warehouse replenishment.
– Closely communicate with local brokers, 3rd party logistics & transportation & warehouse service providers to ensure smooth operation of customs clearance, inland transport, warehouse handling, inventory stock taking, etc.
– Setup KPI’s for Japan warehouses and transportation providers and follow up their monthly performance
– Lead or participate in local logistics vendor selection and SC optimization projects. To participate in regional or global projects
– Create transfer orders, local inventory, freight and other costing reports. Review the monthly cost summary from vendors and make sure of zero mistakes on logistics cost invoices.
– Investigate logistics related customer complaints with local warehouses and transportation companies on finding root causes, creating corrective actions and providing preventive actions

Qualifications

– Working experience in English, both written and oral
– Five years working experience in international trading, order handling, logistics, warehouse, transportation, forwarding or equivalent job experience
– Be able to work as part of the team with overseas / domestic colleagues
– Customer oriented, prepared to take extra mile for customers
– Microsoft Office skill sets
