Responsibilities

-Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure required quality, on-time delivery, and cost optimization
-Track and document project performance, including action plans and timelines for sourcing initiatives
-Select and manage a high-performing supplier base aligned with Category Manager recommendations
-Evaluate and audit suppliers (in collaboration with Supplier Quality teams) to ensure capability, quality, and delivery performance
-Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
-Support contract negotiation and development with Sourcing Managers and Contract Specialists
-Drive supplier qualification, ensure supply continuity, and identify continuous improvement opportunities while adhering to company policies

Qualifications

-5+ years of sourcing/procurement experience, preferably in electrical or electronic components
-Business-level Japanese
-Business-level English
-Experience working with domestic and international electronics manufacturers, distributors, and brokers
-Proven track record in negotiation, cost management, and supplier development
-Strong understanding of electrical components, supply markets, and technical specifications
-Solid digital skills, including procurement systems, Excel/Power BI, and ERP tools
-Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical abilities
