Responsibilities

-Lead and develop a high-performing procurement and sourcing team to achieve operational and business targets
-Design and execute strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with overall business objectives and growth plans
-Ensure reliable and uninterrupted supply of components, materials, and services to support operations
-Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and external partners
-Identify and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery performance, technical capability, and market competitiveness
-Drive cost optimization initiatives and continuous improvement programs to achieve procurement and product cost targets
-Partner cross-functionally to support value engineering, innovation, process enhancement, and long-term supply strategies
-Strengthen procurement governance by managing risk, compliance, business continuity, and supply chain resilience

Qualifications

-10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Business-level Japanese
-Business-level English
-Proven experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced business environment
-Experience working in an international company is a plus!-
Results-driven professional with strong leadership, problem-solving, and change management capabilities
-Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional and global teams
-Knowledge of manufacturing, electronics, or technical components is a plus!
-Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and willingness to travel are a plus!
