Responsibilities

– Support the Procurement Manager in the development and implementation of Japan’s overall procurement strategy.
– Support procurement managers to identify improvement opportunities within various spend categories through data analysis and effectively manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
– Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of procurement policies and procedures.
– Perform vendor assessments with specific focus on performance, business value, sustainability, and risk.
– Manage the lifecycle of your organization’s vehicle fleet.
– Calculate and monitor the TCO of your vehicle fleet and guide strategies and actions.
– Closely manage vendor partnerships and perform vendor assessments with a particular focus on performance, business value, sustainability, and risk.
– Coordinate local strategy with global fleet and business travel headquarters.
– Ensure that international and national rates and agreements are leveraged locally.
– Support global procurement at the head office in providing local data and creating reports.

Qualifications

– More than 2 years of experience in procurement operations
– Stakeholder management (internal and external)
– Business level English
– Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
