Responsibilities

Report to Head of SCM
Manage: 4+ staff

– Manage daily supply chain operations, including logistics, distribution, demand planning, and inventory control to ensure smooth product movement.
– Make sure products are delivered on time and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
– Improve supply chain processes to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and avoid delays or shortages.
– Work closely with sales, procurement, warehouse, and production teams to support business needs and customer demand.
– Track supply chain performance and prepare reports to support better decision-making and continuous improvement.
– Maintain proper inventory levels to avoid overstocking or running out of stock.
– Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure reliable service.
– Lead the SCM team, provide guidance, and ensure everyone is aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

– 5+ years of experience in the life science or medical technology industry
– Experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations, preferably within the life science industry
– Strong leadership and team management skills
– Good communication skills in both English and Japanese
– Experience using SAP or other ERP systems
– Experience with SAP implementation is a plus
