Responsibilities

-Manage daily logistics operations, including shipping, warehouse inbound and outbound activities, inventory control, and delivery arrangements.
-Arrange domestic and international shipments and make sure all import, export, and customs requirements are followed.
-Track shipments, solve delivery issues, and work with suppliers, warehouses, and other teams to ensure on-time delivery.
-Use an ERP system to process logistics activities, update records, and monitor order and shipment status.
-Review logistics processes and find ways to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
-Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure work is completed in a consistent and organized way.
-Support process improvement projects by reducing manual work, improving workflows, and standardizing logistics operations.
-Maintain inventory and logistics data, support internal audits and compliance activities, and suggest improvements based on operational data.

Qualifications

-5+ years experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse, or inventory work.
-Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory, and delivery operations.
-Business-level English
-Business-level Japanese
-Experience using an ERP system (such as SAP or similar software).
-Careful, responsible, and able to manage daily work independently.
-Experience with import/export or customs work is a plus.
-Experience improving work processes or creating simple work instructions (SOPs) is a plus.
-Able to find problems, suggest improvements, and support better ways of working.
-Comfortable using business systems and technology to improve daily operations
