Responsibilities

-Lead procurement and purchasing operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations
-Manage supplier contracts from review and negotiation through execution, renewal, and termination
-Drive cost savings through strategic negotiations, supplier partnerships, and optimized contract terms
-Coordinate sourcing and tender activities to secure high-quality products and services at competitive value
-Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective purchasing support
-Improve procurement processes and workflows to increase efficiency, transparency, and operational consistency
-Monitor supplier performance, spending, and contractual commitments to support cost control and informed decision-making
-Identify and mitigate procurement, compliance, and supplier-related risks while maintaining accurate contract documentation

Qualifications

-4+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, or relavent background
-Educational background relevant to business, supply chain, logistics, or operations management
-Business-level Japanese
-Business-level English
-Experience in purchasing, pricing, sales operations, or logistics coordination is a plus!
-Proven leadership or team management experience with the ability to drive collaboration and results
-Knowledge of supply chain management, pricing strategies, and operational planning
-Experience working with ERP systems related to purchasing, sales, logistics, or business operations
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for reporting and analysis
