Responsibilities

-Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities supporting projects and business operations.
-Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors while clarifying quotation requirements and managing commercial negotiations.
-Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors to ensure competitive pricing and cost effectiveness.
-Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while maintaining strong supplier relationships and operational efficiency.
-Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls, including purchasing governance standards.
-Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, project management, engineering, and service departments to support business objectives.
-Monitor and assess supply chain risks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational resilience.
-Support efficient procurement processes through coordination, communication, and proactive problem-solving across stakeholders.

Qualifications

-3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain-related operations.
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Business-level Japanese
-Business-level English
-Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus!
-Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate requirements, processes, and expectations across internal and external partners.
-Proficiency in standard business applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
-Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, or manufacturing suppliers is a plus!
-Foundational knowledge of contracts, procurement regulations, and financial principles.
