Responsibilities

– Act as a trusted HR adviser to the leadership team.
– Develop and deliver a Japan people plan aligned to business strategy and global HR priorities
– Advise on organisational design, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives
– Identify gaps between local and global HR practices and implement transition plans
– Lead talent management, succession planning, and organisational development activities
– Manage senior stakeholder engagement, building alignment and supporting change
– Ensure HR policies, processes, and systems align with global frameworks and local legal requirements

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– Business level English and Native Japanese
– 10 years HR experience (ideally across various HR functions)
– Strong communication skills
– Experience previously driving change or handling a large global initiative
– Strong labor law knowledge
