Responsibilities

-Manage daily transportation activities and ensure on-time deliveries to customers across Japan.
-Build relationships with transportation providers, monitor their performance, and resolve delivery issues.
-Monitor delivery performance, lead times, and service quality to ensure logistics targets are achieved.
-Maintain transportation systems, ensure data accuracy, and prepare regular performance reports.
-Monitor transportation costs, support budgeting, and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
-Identify operational issues and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and simplify daily operations.
-Work with local, regional, and global teams on logistics projects, process improvements, and sustainability initiatives.
-Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and Operations teams to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

-2+ years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience.
-Bachelor’s degree.
-Business-level Japanese
-Business-level English
-Basic to good Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and formulas.
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems.
-Good communication skills and the ability to work with different teams.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
