Responsibilities

– Manage the overall HR operations and strategy for Japan
– Work closely as a member of the local management team as the local HR expert
– Lead organizational development plans and succession planning
– Implement and improve training and development programs. Provide coaching and training sessions.
– Lead programs focused on talent management and employee engagement
– Introduce global projects into Japan
– Oversee HR Operations and build operational excellence
– Lead company culture building programs and initiatives
– Manage compliance with local labor regulations
– Lead employer branding and culture building initiatives
– Manage and oversee recruitment strategy
– Other HR duties as required

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– Business level English
– Relevant HR experience across various areas of HR as a Generalist
– Strong communication skills
– Experience using HR systems
– Good PC skills
– Understanding of Japan labor law and regulations
