Responsibilities

– Shape the People Strategy: Partner with General Managers and PC Leadership to deliver an HR strategy that supports business growth and culture.
– Connect People & Business: Translate business priorities and global HR strategy into high-impact people initiatives.
– Lead with Impact: Lead the HR team to deliver trusted, business-focused HR support across the organisation.
– Turn Data into Action: Use HR insights and analytics to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and develop people solutions.
– Grow Great Leaders: Coach and advise leaders to build capability, strengthen leadership, and drive performance.
– Champion a People-First Culture: Embed a culture focused on Accountability, Safety, Quality, Customer Focus, and Communication.
– Build Future Talent: Lead Talent Acquisition strategy, partnering with hiring managers to attract top talent and build strong pipelines.
– Drive Effective HR Processes: Ensure key HR processes are delivered effectively and aligned with business and people priorities.
– Be a Trusted HR Partner: Ensure compliance while proactively managing employee relations and supporting positive workplace outcomes.

Qualifications

– 10 years of relevant HR experience
– Ability to link HR to business projects and priorities
– University degree or higher
– Good knowledge of Japan labor law
– Being flexible to work both operational and strategic HR
– Native Japanese and Business English
– Excellent communication skills
– HR BP experience is preferred
– A mix of Operational and Strategic HR experience is highly preferred
